New York publishers Taschen printed the photograph this amazing colorized photo for their An American Odyssey photo book. It shows the daily life of residents on Mulberry near the turn of the century, who unsurprisingly all look at the camera while being photographed. Detroit Photographic Company, the original black and white negatives were transferred onto lithographic printing plates by the for colorization for a process known as Photochroming.
