New York City photographer David Allen Harvey is a full member of the Magnum Photos cooperative, and has photographed extensively for National Geographic over his long career.
He won the Magazine Photographer of the Year award in 1978 for his work in National Geographic, including this amazing aerial shot captured by helicopter over the Statue of Liberty at sunrise, with the Twin Towers off in the distant haze.
