7th Annual Scootathon and MayFair School Fundraiser Hits Prospect Park May 2nd

Some schools do bake sales to raise funds, some do silent auctions, but none have a cooler fundraising event than the Brooklyn Waldorf School in Bed-Stuy and their annual Scootathon and MayFair. Now going into it's 7th year, participants (mostly kids, but adults allowed) scoot 6 laps around Prospect Park for a total of 15 miles on a Razor.

The Scootathon is a yearly event where parents, teachers, staff, students, and friends scoot laps in Prospect Park to raise funds for the school. It promotes environmentally friendly modes of transportation, community building, and is a whole lot of fun!

Go here if you want to sign up as a rider or fundraiser, or just donate to the school.
