The Wall Street Journal recently published a short piece about the vintage subway cars that the MTA has been rolling out over the holiday season. In NYC Nostalgia Train Transports Riders Back in Time, Jeff Bush reports:
It might be the case that we're looking at the subway through rose-tinted glasses, but taking a ride on one of these vintage cars brings out the hopeless romantic in the most cynical New Yorker — at least from 2nd Avenue to Queens Blvd, and back again.
