This great vintage photograph from around 1944 shows the intersection of Ocean Avenue and Emmons Avenue, in the Sheepshead Bay neighborhood of Brooklyn. The trolley shown is the old Ocean Ave Line which ran between Crown Heights and Sheepshead Bay until 1951. Here is a Google StreetView showing how the view from approximately the same vantage point looks today:
