---------- Joan of Arc Memorial sculptor: Anna Vaughn Hyatt Huntington, 1915 architect: John V. Van Pelt architectural style: Gothic, revival dedicated: December 6, 1915 Huntington's sculpture is meant to emphasized “the spiritual rather than the warlike point of view.” The base of the monument contains several limestone blocks from tower in Rouen, where Joan of Arc had been imprisoned.
