Braving the Storm | Torrential rain, along with thunder and lightning, battered the New York City area today. I was caught in the storm while I was out shooting in Times Square. Although you couldn't tell from the photo, this was in the middle of the afternoon.
Once the heavy rain started coming down, nearly everyone ran for shelter and I was shocked to see how quickly Times Square emptied out. Rather than go inside with everyone else, I decided to stay out and get some shots of the storm. I'm glad I did!
