Enlighten your mind and literary palette at this year’s PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature. The 2015 edition shines a spotlight on African literature and culture and features prominent authors such as Mona Eltahawy and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
Immerse your intellectual mind in one or a few of the events planned for each day of the festival. Panels, workshops, readings, performances and discussions are lead by headlining authors and individuals that are greatly respected in the literary community.
The PEN American Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New York, has held these literary festivals for 11 years in commemoration of their mission of "celebrating expression and the freedom of others to engage and share ideas internationally."
"Each spring, the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature showcases the work of writers from around the world in a cross-cultural celebration of the written word."
The PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature is next week, from May 4, 2015 through May 11, 2015. Visit the event page to get more information on the festival events, locations and prices.
