Here is an amazing capture of one of the City's most beloved buildings, the Chrysler Building. Most shots of this art-deco skyscraper are snapped from down 42nd St, or Lexington Ave, but this one appears to have been taken from the southern tip of Roosevelt Island, at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park. It looks out over the East River, some relatively shorter buildings on the Eastern Manhattan shore, and exposes the full facade of the impressive architectural beauty. We couldn't dig up any info about the photographer or original publication, so if you know something, drop us a line.
