Brooklyn Army Terminal Sunset Park Brooklyn, NY | The Brooklyn Army Terminal was the largest military supply base in the United Stated through World War II. By the time the base closed in the 1970s, over 3 million soldiers and 37 million tons of military supplies had passed through the terminal. (Info via Wikipedia). The Terminal is now used for various commercial and non-profit uses. I was there for an Open Studio event sponsored by the Chashama organization, a group which connects artists with affordable studio space.
