Subway Etiquette Tip #155: Don't Get Stuck Trying to Climb Over the Turnstile

First, it's never a good idea to jump a subway turnstile if you are short of fare. Second, if you do decide to cheat the MTA out of $2.75, it's probably best to jump the standard turnstiles and not climb over the giant rotating metal gates. Third, if you decide to climb over the gates, try not to get stuck, preventing that gate from being used until the FDNY can come and rescue you.

Today's Subway Etiquette Tip: If you are going to be an idiot on the New York City subway, try not to inconvenience other people when doing so.

Subway Etiquette Tip #103: Please refrain from extending beyond the boundaries of your 1 (one) allotted seat while riding the New York City subway, regardless of how busy the train is. In other words, don't be like this asshole who decided he wanted to take up 3 (three!) seats while riding the train and (probably) watching some movie while cheering for the self-absorbed, narcissistic villain.

Subway Etiquette Tip #281: When riding the New York City subway, please refrain from using excessive force on a mannequin who doesn't wish to wear pants, sit properly, or take a sip of your drink, even if you've been drinking all day.

In all seriousness, mental health is no joke. If you see somebody who needs help on the subway, or is a danger to themselves or others, please report it to the MTA immediately.
