[WATCH] Jimmy Kimmel Prank New Yorkers Into Thinking Donald Trump Bought Lincoln Center

There is nothing that scares New Yorkers more than hearing that Donald Trump has his hands on something we love. Late night talk show host and comedian Jimmy Kimmel recently capitalized on this fear and pranked New Yorkers on the Upper West Side by telling them that Lincoln Center was bought out by the orange buffoon, and captured their priceless reactions. Check it out!

A condo on the Upper West Side of NYC won a judgement to have Donald Trump's name removed from their building. Trump has his name on a lot of stuff and that fact inspired us to have fun with another landmark on the Upper West Side. We wanted to see what would happen if we told people there was a place where Trump's name was going up, so we set up shop outside of Lincoln Center and told people passing by that it is going to be re-named 'Trump Center' because he bought it. And they bought it too.

[VIDEO] Remember the New York City UFO Tugboat Abduction of 1977?

Do you remember hearing about the NYC UFO Tugboat Abduction of 1977? No? You're not alone. Luckily for us a new documentary has been created to remember it, and a monument has been erected in Battery Park.

This memorial statue at Battery Park stands in loving remembrance of the vanished crew of the Tugboat Maria 120, who vanished on the night of July 13, 1977, while investigating what appeared to be a private aircraft crash on New York Harbor. It is an ever-present symbol to the families of the missing that they are not forgotten an a reminder to us all that.........we are not alone....

Of course, none of this actually happened. It's all park of an ongoing prank series from Staten Island sculpture artist Joe Reginella that included previous stunts such as the Staten Island Octopus Disaster and the Brooklyn Bridge Elephant Stampede.

Here's What Went Down During Yesterday's 17th Annual "No Pants Subway Ride"

Despite incredibly cold temperatures here in New York City yesterday, Improv Everywhere's 17th annual No Pants Subway Ride went off without a hitch, surprising straphangers and commuters on subway lines across the City.

On Sunday, January 7th, 2018 thousands of people took off their pants on subways in cities around the world. In New York, our 17th Annual No Pants Subway Ride took place in frigid 17F degree weather and was spread out over seven meeting points and eleven subway lines.

More Details Released for Improv Everywhere's 2018 NYC No Pants Subway Ride

Organized by Improv Everywhere, the 17th Annual No Pants Subway Ride in NYC will be held on Sunday, January 7th, 2018. The comedic "improv" event is widely known and less shocking than in previous years, but still a bunch of fun and still brings a ton of smiles to people of all ages.

The No Pants Subway Ride is an annual event staged by Improv Everywhere every January in New York City. (The date changes from year to year and is announced in early December.) The mission started as a small prank with seven guys and has grown into an international celebration of silliness, with dozens of cities around the world participating each year. The idea behind No Pants is simple: Random passengers board a subway car at separate stops in the middle of winter without pants. The participants behave as if they do not know each other, and they all wear winter coats, hats, scarves, and gloves. The only unusual thing is their lack of pants.

When: Sunday, January 7 at 3:00 PM, Sharp! (Over around 5 PM)
Where: Seven meeting points spread out all over New York City. Details
Bring: A backpack/bag and a metro card.
Wear: Normal winter clothes (hat, gloves, etc)

Pranksters Turned Lincoln Center Fountain Bright Yellow on Saturday

The central fountain at Lincoln Center was mysteriously dyed bright yellow by some pranksters over the weekend, causing management to turn of the water after the incident on Saturday for cleaning.

Someone tampered with the famous Lincoln Center fountain on Saturday, dying the normally clear water yellow in the early afternoon. In a statement to the Daily News, Lincoln Center said the dye was “water-based.” “A water based yellow dye was put into the fountain,” Lincoln Center spokeswoman Mary Caraccioli said in a statement. “The fountain is being cleaned. Our security team notified the NYPD.”
