Sfoglini Pasta Shop is a small pasta manufacturer located in the old Pfizer Factory Building in Brooklyn that serves up fresh pasta to some of New York City's best Italian restaurants.

In this video from our friends at Eater, watch as some fancy machinery helps pump out fresh pasta at Sfoglini.

The colorful and intricately shaped fresh pastas from Brooklyn's Sfoglini Pasta Shop are like miniature works of art, and the machines responsible for them are mesmerizing to watch. At the company's production facility at 630 Flushing, batches of cavatelli, reginetti, radiators, and more rain down onto sheet pans and squeeze out of molds in brilliant, carbohydrate-filled excess.

In the first episode of State of Repair, we visited the New York Times printing plant to meet Greg Zerafa, Jerry Greaney, and Chris Bedetto, who are part of a dying breed of machinists that keeps the newspaper's eight three-story printing presses humming and spitting out hundreds of thousands of newspapers every single day.

Although the Rangers suffered a loss to the Penguins in the first of the best-of-seven opening round of the Stanley Cup play-offs this week, they will have a home-team advantage coming up on Tuesday. They will need their 17,000 square feet of ice to be silky smooth and perfectly chilled. The task will rest in the able hands of Paul Curtis and Jack Durkin of the Madison Square Garden ice crew.
