In this video from the series, we take a look at Flushing's Voelker Orth Museum, a landmarked home built in 1891.

The Voelker Orth Museum in Flushing Queens is a picturesque frame house built in 1891. Inside, you will find the story of Conrad Voelker, a German immigrant, and his family whose furnishings and photos are on display.

The museum is also devoted to local history and nature. It offers exhibitions, house tours, performances, talks and workshops, and educational programs year-round. The property was designated a New York City Landmark in 2007, ensuring that this small corner of Flushing's history endures to be enjoyed by generations to come.

Her taste is bold, silly, fun, eccentric—it’s exciting,” says the Stranger Things actor and star of the recent blood-splattered Christmas spectacular Violent Night. “I’ve always been interested in interiors, and I’ve always done my own homes. But this was a big undertaking, and I needed help.” says Allen. “Together, Billy and I tried to reach for something weird and wonderful.”
