What does it take to make it as a fitness instructor in New York? I have no idea. Exercise is something I partake in out of necessity not enjoyment, and I’m more uncoordinated than most. Regardless, I decided to find out. So I tried to become a boxing instructor at Equinox, one of the most prestigious gyms in New York. It wasn’t pretty.

Everybody Fights: A Midtown Boxing Gym That Caters to a Majority Female Clientele

Founded in 2013 by George Foreman III, the son of former heavyweight champion George Foreman, Sr., Everybody Fights is a Midtown gym that allows boxers and gym-goers to get all their training done “under one roof.” Catering to a mostly-female clientele, the gym is a comfortable femaled-designed space that teaches boxing and fitness.

Foreman created this gym concept with his father as his mentor and his personal experience in 16 professional fights.
