The entire trip, from their initial departure to reaching Patchogue, took approximately 8 hours and 14 minutes.

The NYPIRG Straphangers Campaign is about to release their 2019 Pokey Awards, which recognizes the stellar bus routes that make each of its riders so late that they regret ever stepping on board. Truthfully, nobody is a winner here, but the mock-awards do draw attention to the problem, which hopefully will cause the MTA to listen up and address some of the issues surrounding the slowest lines in the transit system.

Several New York City bus lines have received dubious honors.
