Now at 91, Jackie gets her hair done every two weeks at the Riverwalk Salon, part of her independent living community in the Bronx, NY. For Jacqueline and other residents, the in-house salon is a place for socialization and self care.

Two days after winning, Nia Franklin, who lives in Clinton Hill, says it hasn't quite sunk in yet that she is the new Miss America. Franklin said her two roommates are "super stoked" and both were there in Atlantic City on Sunday night to help her celebrate. She may have grown up in North Carolina, but she says living in Brooklyn gave her an edge in this competition.

The 9th Annual Coney Island Beard And Moustache Competition is returning to Brooklyn this Saturday, September 3rd, 2015 at 6pm.

The strangest and most extravagant beards and moustaches descend upon Coney Island to see whose facial hair reigns supreme. Over the past eight years, hundreds of bearded men (and women) have competed to take home the much coveted Beard & Moustache Fez trophy.

With Zoolander 2 opening this weekend, a movie themed pop-up shop has emerged on West 14th Street and 8th Avenue in the Meatpacking City.

The Derek Zoolander Center for People Who Don’t Age Good opened up yesterday by cosmetic shop Kiehl's, a company that sells anti-aging creams and other goods.
