Yoko Ono's One Woman Show Hits the MoMA

Most widely known for her relationship with the Beatles late John Lennon, performance and conceptual artist Yoko Ono has also created a series of artwork in various medium throughout her lifetime, stretching back to the early 1960’s.

Yoko Ono, One Woman Show, is a minimal and aesthetic exhibit surrounded around pieces which were strongly influenced by the Fluxus "anti-art" movement.

Yoko Ono: One Woman Show, 1960–1971 surveys the decisive decade that led up to Ono’s unauthorized exhibition at MoMA, bringing together approximately 125 of her early objects, works on paper, installations, performances, audio recordings, and films, alongside rarely seen archival materials.

Catch the exhibition through September 7, 2015 at the Museum of Modern Art.
