Shared by Redditor Perfect_Gas, this great vintage aerial photograph from 1963 shows the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge under construction in 1963, in color. When construction was finished in 1964, the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world, connecting the boroughs of Staten Island and Brooklyn.
