[VIDEO] More on the Swarm of Honey Bees That Took Over a Downtown Office Building

Earlier this week, about 20,000 about 20,000 European Honey Bees decided to swarm upon the downtown Manhattan headquarters of Vice Media, following their fleeing queen bee. In this video from Eater, see why this happened, and how their capture will turn into delicious local honey.

The honey you’re buying at your local farmer’s market could be coming from New York’s rogue bees. The Eater staff went to speak with local bee experts called in by the police department to find out why the bees decided to swarm in front of our downtown offices.
