Subway Etiquette Tip #92: Don't Bring Your Leashed Duck Onto the New York City Subway

Leashed or not, the New York City subway is not a place for a pet duck, especially because they are illegal to own as a pet in New York City. One such tethered fowl was recently spotted by Brooklynite Max Kirchoff on a G train and shared with our friends at Gothamist. According to Max:

"Someone was asking her questions about it, and [the owner] said she had a pit bull and they really liked each other," Kirchoff added. "Basically the duck thinks that it's a dog now. She was very matter of fact about it."
