Former Archbishop of New York Edward Egan passed away at the age of 82 on Thursday. He suffered a heart attack during lunch and was rushed to NYU Langone Medical Center in Kips Bay where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Cardinal Egan was the 12th Bishop, 9th Archbishop, and 7th Cardinal of New York.
