Here's What The MTA's Special Track Vacuuming Train Looks Like

Local transit historian and railfan Dj Hammers makes tons of great videos showing how subway transit works and runs in the City.

In this recent video he captures one of the MTA's special track vacuuming trains, the "VakTrak", as it passes through the Jay St. station.

This is a very unique and unusual train. It's essentially a huge vacuum cleaner that sucks up trash from the tracks. Taken on May 19th, 2016.
