Green Metropolis The Extraordinary Landscapes of New York City as Nature, History, and Design is a new book by author and activist Elizabeth Barlow Rogers, one of the women who spearheaded the Central Park Conservancy's successful efforts to cleanup and restore Central Park in the 1980s.
