Dustin Yellen's Amazing Psychogeographies Installation at the New York City Ballet Features 3D Glass Sculptures of Moving Dancers

Brooklyn-based Dustin Yellen is a contemporary artist that is best known for his glass sculptures. His Psychogeographies series features what Yellen calls a "glass sandwich", in which several glass panels are painted on individually or have magazine cutouts glued onto them, then are bonded on top of each other to create a 3D sculpture inside the thick glass brick. Inspired by the dancers of the New York City Ballet, Yellen created some amazing new sculptures for the Ballet's home in Lincoln Center that feature dancing bodies in movement.
