The Blind Muslim Trust Experiment Hits New York City

Last week there was a viral video that circulated around the web in which a Muslim man stood on the streets of Toronto for hours blindfolded with a sign announcing he was a Muslim. People could have done anything to him, but chose to give a stranger a hug instead. The sign read:

I trust you. Do you trust me? Give me a hug. I am a Muslim. I am labeled as a terrorist.

Inspired by that video, Karim Metwaly set out to do the same experiment in Union Square to see if New Yorker's are as nice as our neighbors North of the border.
