While the conceptual Liberty Bridge connecting Manhattan with Jersey City may still be a long way from realization, the dream bridge took a step in the right direction as the design by Jeff Jordan Architects recently got a stamp of approval by the New Jersey Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
The Liberty Pedestrian Bridge, conceived of by Jersey City resident Kevin Shane and designed by architect Jeff Jordan, was recognized this week with the AIA-NJ’s honor award for an unbuilt project.
