Summer is right around the corner in New York City and with it comes the annual season of free outdoor movies. Public outdoor locations such as Brooklyn Bridge Park, Central Park, Chelsea Piers and various rooftops all across the City are screening movies all summer long.
Not only will you be able to enjoy warm summer nights with a curated selection of movies, but also get to see some great bands, and even take dance lessons given right before some of the screenings. If you go to enough free movies, you may dance the salsa perfectly by the end of summer!
All of the outdoor movie events are completely free to attend, but the good spots fill up quickly so be sure to get there early with popcorn, a blanket and your dancing shoes.
